I dont have a 305 but I can speak for loving the ride and easy maintanance of a Grady White type boat. Just bought my new GW last year and it gives you the unbelievable freedom of standing up along with your passangers and easy cleanup at the end of the day. Just hose it out and you're done. Not to mention the rougher the water, the better the ride. As the former owner of super nice bowriders, the lake is getting much rougher than it used to be 10 yrs ago so a sharp v hull helps with the ride quality, give one a try and you'll be hooked for life! All boats have a purpose for different needs, glad there is a great variety out there to choose from : )
