The tax assessor came by my home and told me that the current state of the economy could not be considered in assessing the values of the property. He told me what it was based on but to be honest i forgot exactly what he said. However I had my property appraised and they have to use my appraiser values. Because of the timing they will use them next year because it was done after Oct. 1st. Then the county will reassess the value again.
