Sounds reasonable to me.  I will tell you that unless you use N95 or above, the mask is about 5% effective....which is essentially worthless  But if it makes you feel better then by all means wear it.  Peace of mind is often more important than reality.  But don't get close to someone wearing a similarly ineffective mask because you are not protected and neither are they.
