For some reason there are still 34,000 jobs missing. When I added up the private sector jobs from each category it only came to 190,000. While I may have missed a category I don't think so. Maybe they didn't list all the categories in the summary.

Will be interesting to see what happens when the numbers are adjusted. I am surprised about the negative growth in gov't workers (excluding census) but I suppose its possible they have burned through the porkulus money. That's the problem with government, they create nothing. If they had returned this money to the the private sector instead of using it to pay back the SEIU and propping up fiscally irresponsible state and local government maybe the jobs would last.

In any event, regardless of whether it is 231,000 or 190,000 it is good news despite all the associated worse news not being reported. As I said earlier, it is just another example of why the government media is going extinct.
