Taken to its logical conclusion, if you let a criminal into your home based on a lie (as we were told with Oblamercare), then it is not up to the courts to do anything about your decision?!?!? We expect SCOTUS to evaluate laws and determine whether they comport with the Constitution and nothing else. In this case, Roberts and the majority just made it up. If it was a tax then the case should have been thrown out until someone had to pay the tax. But the truth is that they argued this under the commerce clause and a majority agreed that it was a bridge too far. As Kennedy said in his dissent, this is pure sophistry.

Check out Byron York's piece in the Washington Examiner. He explains why this was a total fraud and why the minority was correct. Its all about the first two days of oral argument.
