One of Martini's senator is ready to break the no tax increase pledge for the good of the country. As Archie would say, it is time for conservatives to update your political resume cause you can't trust those conservatives. Promise us no increase in taxes and then, for the good of the country, agree to consider an increase.
"U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., said he doesn't think abiding by conservative lobbyist Grover Norquist's anti-tax pledge helps avoid the looming fiscal cliff. Though he signed the pledge, Chambliss said strictly adhering to it will prevent Republicans and Democrats from working together to find a solution for the country's ballooning debt, CNN reported."
Joining Chambliss is Lindsay Graham. "Lindsay Graham, the South Carolina GOP lawmaker, told GreenvilleOnline.com that he’s ready to break the pledge he and other Republicans made to Grover Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform."
