If you live in Alabama and order from Amazon your cost is about to go up 8% on November 1, because they have reached agreement with Alabama to charge sales tax.  Just saw this in the news yesterday.  Amazon has been creeping prices up in the past two years and this increase will make me really check their prices more closely.  Rather than the local county and city rates, the state will get 8% and split it with locals.  Better order up before Monday!!
