There are usually a few that stay in lower portion of the lake all year, but they are scattered and shallow. The numbers start to improve some time during May depending on the weather. The full migration to the Kowaliga basin is generally complete by mid-June. However, this is shaping up to be an unusual year given the amount of rain we've seen this spring. If the water doesn't clear up soon, all bets are off.

Good luck when you get out there and stay Tooned.
