I get a garden catalog and they specialize in "sel-watering" containers for plants. They have a resevoir that will take care of the plants for a week. They sell containers or the internal workings so you can use your own pots. I use a drip system off the sprinkler system so I have not tried this. I think it is Gardeners Supply.
