Will everyone please pass the word to their pontoon owner friends that think docking lights can help you see at night.
1. They will not help you see anything in the open water.
2. They are illegal to run unless you are docking.
3. Your night vision is best when as few lights are on in your boat as necessary.
Another word to pass on to their friends and new boaters to the lake.  On the weekends at the rock, please keep your speed to "no wake" when near anchored boats.
This weekend a guy decided to tow his kids through the middle of the pack of boats.  Boy did he get an ear full from several boats.  As in the movie Forest Gump, "ARE YOU STUPID OR SOMETHING"
Just my rant for the day.
