Wife and I will be pulling the boat up to Wind Creek the week of the 11th.  Have never fished the upper end of the lake since we always stayed at a place south of the highway 63 bridge.

Any advice for where to start looking for fish on the upper end?  Talked to David Hare on the phone and he said fish will be in transition and I could find them from one end of the lake to the other but I don't know where to specificly start looking.

Where can I get Gizzard Shad?  I have cast net and a good boat for getting shallow.  I have always just bought saltys and they have worked ok but would prefer to net some shad.

Would love to meet some of you locals and maybe fish together......

Tight Lines.
