Major medical coverage, for a family of 4, $1000 deductible, $3500 stop loss, is available for far less than $13k. Hit the BC website, and try various ages. Alabama rates, higher than Georgia, range from $320-$650, with dental. Top rate, paying out deductible still brings it in under $11k, lowest rate at $7k. The ACA results in rates in excess of $10k per uninsured. Have you ever thought about how much it costs taxpayers to have Medicare payments administered? Do you think our gummint is remotely capable of providing payment administration for less than a private company?
