I, since the primarys, have always said that I would have rather had an unelectable Newt as the nominee, vs a moderate like Romney. Obama could never have layed the sh..........t at Newts feet without getting it returned in sound bites that the media could not ignore. Not to mention the fact that the debates would have had ratings through the roof as Newt chewed and spit Obama out like a pack of sunflower seeds. I am now adamant in my instructions to my children that they will live and raise their children in the south. I could not have been prouder of the red seen from NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, thru to Texas. But beware, the Dems have their sites set on the south, breaking up the evangelical vote.
Regarding Hispanics and latinos, face it, they are for the most part Catholic, like myself. Parishes have spanish speaking masses for crying out loud. No place like the pulpit where you lay the law down regarding God's word, you can't pick and choose what you believe like a smorgasbord. All actions have consequences, and I for one, don't want to be at the other end of a hand of an angry God. The majority of Latinos don't feel this way because they have never been fed this truth.
