Hound I agree. We have been so insulated from the real effects of war and dealing with bad people that we think we can deal with it without feeling the pain ourselves.
I pray for the soul of the individual these cretins hold captive, because surely he will see the same fate as the gent who was brutally murdered
I have always thought that our current President never experienced life on a grade school playground. There, without the protective cloak of political correctness, people understand how the world turns. They understand the concept of power. They understand that bullies will be bullies until called to task for their transgressions. I remember a story my brother in law told me about his upbringing in Little Rock, AR. There was a bully, much bigger than he, who made his life miserable. That is, until one day he got the courage to fight back, and with a single punch put the bully's nose at a 90 degree angle from where it was before the punch. The bully never bothered him again.
The point of the story is that we must be willing to take the chance that our endeavor might have costs, but we must have the courage to take the fight to the madmen of the middle east. We must crush them. Fight dirty if we have to, but they must be stopped. Easy for the boo-birds to say at this point that it doesn't involve us.....but indeed they are myopic because it does. It is just a matter of time. The altruists of the world must understand that the crazies will not stop until this magnificnt blue marble, in its entirety, is an Islamist Caliphate.
