Just north of the Civic Center. The other island that they used to inhabit was near the "Big Slide" (on the west side of the point off Funderburg). I don't know if their "fertilizer" killed the trees or what, but for a while the trees looked really bad, but when we were over there the other day, the island looked like it was coming back to life since the herons were gone.
We have a problem with the geese now. Our neighbor put out a decoy a couple of years ago and attracted about 50 or so that just decided to stay--they never leave! They are messy---huge crap and the dogs just love to roll in it!
