The visit to Normandy a few years ago is still fresh in my memory card as I recall the very positive comments by our hosts as we toured the whole invasion area of D-Day 1944. As a veteran much too young to have been involved, but who had family members who were involved being a coxswain of an LST on that day, and an uncle who survived the Battle of the Bulge and an uncle who went down on the Indianapolis while sending out SOS calls for help......there is not a word in the English language to describe the wretched behavior of President biden in forgetting to mention the D-Day remembrance until late in the evening of June 6th.........which means it was received in Europe on June 7th.
How can we expect our European allies to continue to honor all who participated and those who paid the ultimate price on that day,if our president can’t be bothered to put out an appropriate proclamation in a timely manner?
Looks like willful negligence to go along with the inbred incompetence that we are being exposed to on a daily basis to me.
