A fellow was in New Orleans's 9th ward when the water began to rise up to his porch. A boat cane by and they said, "Get in and we will save you."

"No, the Lord will provede!"

 Later water was over his front door.  Another boat came by and they said, "Get in and we will save you."

"No, the Lord will provide." 

  Then the water was up to his roof. A helicopter hoveres over and lowered a cable. "Grab this,"

 "No," He said, "The Lord wil provide."

The water came up and he drowned

 When he met God he asked, " I believed you would provide. What happened?"

And God said, "I sent you two boats and a helicopter. You tell me?"
