We could make a long list of politicians that overstay their health issues. Power and money are huge motivators. I have mixed feelings about term limits. They need to be long enough to prevent even more power getting into the hands of the staff, which already have too much anyway. It really should be up to the voters to say enough is enough but the strength of incumbancy is pretty stout. If we limit the Senate to three terms (18 years) and nine terms for the House (18 years) that would work for me. The ironic thing is most of these yahoos are in safe states and districts and would be replaced by another politician from the same party. So for the most part it is about those close to the specific elected official that benefit the most from lack of term limits.
