Subject:	Mercruiser I/O gear lube reservoir leaks down

On Benn 2005 I/O the gear lube reservoir leaks or consumes oil weekly.  The reservoir is mounted on the engine and I fill before I take it out on lake.  Any suggestions? Fix? Who can do quickly since we are in season now. In little Kowaliga area and I dont have a trailer.

I believe there is a design error in the Mercruiser Alpha ones at least.  Need redesigned parts.

Let some fluid out of the bottom.  If the bottom/foot is full of water.................................find a friend with a boat.
