-I've heard about the UN Climate Treaty referenced in the below url before.
-Although I tried to read teh text of the treaty (hot link -treaty) in below article, aas usual, it was very difficult.
-Pages 124 +++ deal with costs. I couldn't find the exact proposed cost to the US. However, I heard at one time it was to be 8% of GDP. That of course is hard to believe.
-Prior to running for president, Obama was on record as supporting this treaty. Now that he is president, hopefully he will have a different take on it.
-Just someting else to keep you up nights! Enjoy!

Most estimates place the cost of this treaty and cap and tax at over $4,000 per family per year in additional energy costs. Of course, Dems want to give the poor a tax credit (you know, those people that don't actually pay federal taxes) to partially cover the additional energy costs. So the rich can afford it, wealth is redistributed to the poor in the form of credits to taxes they don't pay and the lower and middle class get screwed.
One of many lies the Messiah told during the campaign that the government media is dutifully hiding from the public.

Cap and trade is an exploitation of the lack of science in the education of mainstream America. CO2 is NOT a greenhouse gas. If you had taken high school chemistry, you would know this. That notwithstanding, please paste the following in your web browser as an example of understanding of the TRUE role of CO2 in the anthropogenic global warming (AGW) hype.

Ah… so that was difficult! I am trained to understand (formal education and experience in geophysics, meteorology, and geology) and I adamantly reject CO2 as a culprit in “global warming.” Why? Contrary to the behavior of the AGW alarmist, Dr. Orsssengo and his (and my) peers will subject their work, data, and methods to public peer review.
Well, Mr. Gore, inventor of the internet, will not debate Dr. Orssengo, or any other qualified scientist, with respect to Mr. Gore’s “inconvenient truth.” Mr. Gore, in fact, refuses to participate in the scientific method (Google that).
On the basis of Mr. Gore’s undefended and undebated theory and pressure from the environmental and socialist extremists of the Europe, our legislature is prepared to drink his cool aid and shamefully burden the economic environment and quality of life of our heirs.
Notice that China is NOT on board with this. They stand to profit from our folly and inherit our economy in the process.
