Senators from Louisiana, Vermont, and Nebraska appear to have sold their votes in return for something from the Health Care legislation. Louisiana will receive $300 while Vermont and Nebraska will receive special deals for Medicaid.

This bill is nothing but a legislative train wreck that reaps of "sweeteners/bribes" being everywhere. People previously classified as uninsured will now be routed to Medicaid. States are going to be in a mess funding Medicaid.

I wonder how many other Democratic Senators have also worked out deals in other categories for their votes. Apparently Harry Reid control the Senate with an iron hand and the "little boys" in the Senate are afraid not to follow "Dirty Harry's" orders.

Voters in this country are going to be able to vote their convictions in 2010 for the actions of "Dirty Harry" and his crowd and hopefully voters will boot them out of office.

Wonder how all the other voters(if they are paying attention) in the USA feel about subsiding the medicaid cost in Neb plus their own states??.............Widgethater, while I can identify with your thoughts on this in regards incumbents........let's not be crazy and accept a third party solution, don't forget that the little man Ross Perot is what gave us Bill Clinton.....

I totally agree. Never again do we want a "Ross Perot" candidate to elect the President of the USA or control the congressional elections.

So you are suggesting that we stick with the Rebublicans or Demacrats? We DO need a third party - one that truly supports the Constitution. Both of the major parties are doing their best to burn the document by imposing their wills on us.

Splitting the Republican party helps no one except the Democrats. There are leadership problems in the Republican Party. One of the candidates for Congress is running against a man favored by the Republican leadership who changed from being a Democrat.

The two Senators from the NE, one is Snow, I forget the other, and Lindsey Graham from SC could easily move to the Democratic Party as Specter did. Shelby is a Republican for convenience but his vote can also be bought.

I'm waiting for the first court case on the proposed Health Care bill from a state that will be getting less money that Nebraska and Vermont for Medicaid. I thought that the name of this country was the USA. Since when has it been renamed the FSA (Favored States of America).
