For those of you who were not there this weekend, and are wondering when the pollen will start collecting?? It is here now.
Seems strange to me. Saturday there was no obvious pollen collecting on anything, thru late afternoon. By Sunday noon, my truck had a nice yellow tint, picnic table coated and it had started to pool at the water's edge. Just seems weird that it popped that quickly. Bring nose spray/pills/honey.

Mack -- totally agree it is like the pollen showed up overnight. Left cell phone on picnic table most of Sunday and noticed Sunday afternoon the screen was dusted with pollen.

You got that right - did not notice anything Saturday, washed the wife's car Sunday AM, went back inside for a Mimosa refill, looked up the driveway, and it was already coated "yaller".... Ready for LOTS more of the yellow clouds though - only one of my neighbor's five big pines by the lake was making a contribution....

Other than turning everything yellow, causing sinus problems for untold numbers, can anyone tell me why in H we have pine pollen? Sorta like fire ants. We already got ants, don't need no fire ants.
