Saw the post about damage in 34 area and Maxwell, wanted to see if it was all north of 34. Anyone seen or heard of damage in the Holiday Shores area behind Poplar's and Holiday Shores ? Can't call a neighbor there, don't want to get in the way of help by driving down today but may need to if it's bad there!
Also, can I even get there from Bham now, or is 49 still blocked?
Edit - just had someone call by cell from that area, and apparently the damage was more isolated near 34 and slightly north. Wow. He was pretty stunned at the damage.

We drive to our place last night off of wildwood rd. The damage starts heading down 34 after Lake Martin Baptist Church. As we were heading back to Auburn this morning since our place didn't have power, there was ~1 mile of cars the police had stopped starting at Susannah crossing. It appears they are not letting them through, so I wouldn't suggest trying to drive down 34 today past the intersection with 49. 49 heading north to Dadeville was barricaded as well.
