The Lake is beyond just beautiful today. It is placid and you can see the ducks and geese looking for nesting areas.
It is to bad the Forum has to revert to high school humor amongst adults as opposed to enjoying the serenity of the Lake. I don't know how a group of adult men can go on a forum equally enjoyed by ladies and children and start discussing trash like painting parts of the female ananomy. You would like to think the men of the Fourm were Southern Gentlemen or at least men. If not, then there is a reasonable explanation for their childish behavior and why no lady wants to have anything to do with them.
Now, I think I will go back out on the deck and enjoy the pleasant evening as opposed to the trash I have just read on the Forum.
I wish I could share with all of you just how beautiful our wonderful Lake is right now. I think we are going to have a great year on the Lake.

Yup, beautiful here also.. Counted 80+ buffel heads out front, fixing to migrate, me thinks.. Also had 3 purple martains on the houses checking out the lake early Sunday morning.. Life is good..

Also very blessed with the 3 person Kayak my kids built from a Pygmy kit for our 40th wedding anniversary... With gas heading towards $5/gal it will come in handy... If they want to ski, they buy the gas, I can't paddle that fast..

thanks for a great post. to be fair, there are only a very few who distinguish themselves and their immaturity level. they are obviously seeking attention.

I wish that I could be at the lake as well, but alas, we still have to work and be mature... Stuck in B'ham during the week, about all we can do is drink beer and have farting contests. :-)

but then we would both be wrong.
So here is one for you, while you sit by the lake and look at the water. Probably came from your vintage.
DON'T DIP YOUR WICK IN A WACK, DON'T WAVE YOUR WAND AT A WAVE. JUST SIT IN THE SAND AND DO IT BY HAND, AND BUY BONDS WITH THE MONEY YOU SAVE.
and as far as challenging peoples manhood.
I have a rule, never box with senior citizens. But I will challenge you to an arm wrestling contest. or for that matter Buck Buck.
We could have it at the bar of you choice. Looser buys the house a round.

All this huggie and rubbies stuff makes me want to add a "mean people suck" sticker to the back window of the diesel 4x4.
