Anyone know if the Pods on the Oak Trees have dropped yet at the lake with all this nice weather or are they still hanging on?

I don't put Pine Straw down until the Oak pods drop first.....

They're still hanging on. Maybe 25% have fallen with the rain.

Pike Best I can determine based on a sampling of 23 trees is 47.6% on ground and 52.4% on tree with a statistical margin of error of (+/-3%). . Tell wife it is too early to put down pine straw. Check back after Easter.
