Was out driving around yesterday and noticed it was closed (even the storage buildings behind it). Anyone have any idea what happened. Looked like a good area for a small store to me.

My belief, very poor management, no gas, car wash didn't work, no stock in the store, plus many other things. Probably could not pay his suppliers.

Yeah, it has been out of business for several months. They never had supplies unless you needed fishing gear. It was a large plot of land, but its rival across the street was too much for them.

Not sure what you're talking about, there was not anything across from Jim's.

It turns out that he got divorced.  He also owned the hardware shop up the hill.  The Judge ordered that the businesses
must be sold and the cash split.  With  half the proceeds going to his ex-wife, I can see why it lacked upkeep in the end.

Looks good for a new owner for Jim's bait shop.  He had added guns, three archery shooting lanes and other fun stuff.
