Good morning, Commander;

No, they have not been on due to travel, but I could possibly do that Sunday morning and into next week.  Going out on the boat for a radio check this Saturday morning looks like it would get me wetter than swimming in the Lake!

Roger that. The weather kept us off the water anyway so we will try tomorrow afternoon. Btw, Send me your name and contact information to freemms@auburn.edu Thanks!

We were out on the water yesterday but had radio issues. We'll try this again later in the week.

We were out on the water from about 1300 to 1730 Monday.  I had the radio set on channel 16 (156.800).  The only time I heard anything was one transmission around 1600, and another around 1621 or so.  Both were strong, but rather unintelligible.  Other than that, no traffic at all.  Went from around Madwind Creek down the river past Paces Point, by the Ridges, past the dam out into Kowliga Bay and past Harbor Docks.  Returned the same path.  Quiet other than those two bursts.  Perhaps the few folks who have VHF FM on Lake Martin are just starting out on channel 9, since it is "boater calling".

Cheers

RadioActive
