Alabama Power has now posted the lake level is expected to go up to 467 by tomorrow.

Talked with APCO, as of right now 466.5 is expected (465 is full pool) however this without evacuating Henry Neely to relieve flooding in Gadsden or additional rains.  There is still a prediction of 1/2 inch of rain in the forecast but should remain below 467.  I have requested an increase in release at dam via a variance to Corp of Engineers.  Remember this is a moving target.  I was told that the Tallapoosa river system really got hit hard.

Thanks for the heads up and request to release more downstream. Twice in two weeks is twice too often. I understand this event but never understood the last event.
