   Around the last weekend of Feburary or the first in March, We are asking all interested to help us clean up and get Pirate Island ready for summer. This will depend on the weather and water level. The Island has become a victum of its own success and the boat wakes have caused much erosion. Please come out and help us save this place.

It would be alot better for everyone if people would anchor their pontoons out from the island instead of pulling up on it. While I have only been there a couple of times I know people that go all the time & I noticed that when you have serval pontoons pulled up on the beach it muddies the water & makes it less enjoyable.

I am trying to find 2 or 3 more tanks to make mouring bouys for the island. Anyone having something to make these moring bouys out of please let me know. The ones we have fill up quickly.
