I have an issue with erratic operation in Tach, Oil Pressure, and Trim gauges. Tach requires "thumbing" with finger to settle down, oil guage will bounce between 0 and the normal 40-50, and trim is slow to respond.
Before I start replacing guages and sending units, could this be a ground issue?

Just a thought. Make sure all your battery connection are tight and free of corrision. Also check the connections at the back side of the gauages for corrision.
