Subject:	Small Stripe Fishing

 Does anyone know if the small stripes have started their run up into the sloughs? My experience has been that they start about mid-March each year. When they are running you can catch a fish just about every cast using a "white" jig. The youngsters really have fun and the "oldtimers" do, too.
