The intersection of Blue Creek and the main river channel in front of the Ridge Marina north of Chimney Rock was in fine form on Saturday! Thinking of purchasing a barge. Oh how I miss the days when a 19ft boat was more than plenty to enjoy the lake in comfort....

To keep from posting again...saw where Pleasure Point Marina is shut down. I guess I missed the drama about the Marina (knew about the residents). Why was it closed and how long before Russell builds another marina on that spot? (Great location)

Huge boats, waves everywhere, drunks on jet ski's.....it's awful.  No point moving up there to get away from the congestion down south.  Probably like 8 times worse, maybe 80 times.....a runabout is a 26 footer.......I swear it's all true....why would I lie about such a thing?!?!?

And on top of that, all of our restaurants have a 2-3 hour wait for service and a $300 minimum tab.

Not to mention the marina charges $11 per gallon for gas and all the properties spew untreated raw sewage into the lake giving us incredibly high fecal colliform numbers........I think our work here is done.
