Fished with my oldest son Brad yesterday afternoon, bite was awesome till about 4 pm. Caught bwtween 25-30, typical size 12-14" fish. Wter temp 63-65 deg, wind SE. Good shaky head bite on cotton candy with Chart tail. Fish were anywhere from 4-12 feet and seemed to be ganged up on secondary points and rock walls. All fished released.
tight lines

Thanks for the report. I caught them last Saturday in the same depth and structure with bream color square bill cranks. Same size too. I haven't seen them in the shallow flats yet but I know they're on their way up to spawn. Going out again this weekend.

I caught a few in shallow water last week, mostly around rocks, but I was just paddling around for a couple of hours. Fishing for many different kinds of fish should be good right now, at least I hope so tomorrow.
