Good morning all,

Need to hire someone to build stone columns (about 2 1/2 to 3 foot high) around new 12x12 wood posts on my patio as I am redoing my back porch area.  Also, if any of you have had this work done, would you mind sharing how much something like this might cost per column.  I have 7 that need to be completed.  Really have no idea how much would be reasonable for a job like this.

Try The Backyard in Auburn/ Bryan Waits 334-524-3550.  They did a project for me involving a couple large stone retaining walls, stone patio and large stone steps from the house to the lake.  They did an excellent job.

Blue Creek Iron Works would also recommend Bryan Waits out of Auburn.

danny mc bride in jacksons gap is one of the best stone masons around. did 90% of stillwaters stone at golf club townhomes including the water wheel l built nex to road. his brother kenny mc bride is a general contractor also.

Thank you for the recommendations.  Contacted Mr. Bryan Waits of The Backyard in Auburn.  Has aleady come out and given me a quote and will start the work in 2-3 weeks.  Will repost after the work is finished for a final review.
