Any opinions here about the best giant float and who sells them. I've heard that the some of the lower priced ones may not hold up well with grandkids.

We have had the original Lily Pad for 6 summers. It is still in excellent shape with no signs of breaking down. We don't leave it out in the water full time. We bring it in when not in use. The whole family jokes sbout it being the best purchase ever.

I have the overtons splash island version of lilly pad. About 5 or 6 yrs and still going strong. I dont leave it out when we are not using it.
Brother bought the costco version and it tore up in 2 years with a foot going thru it and then splitting from there.
Cousin has the Sams version about 2 yrs old. No issues yet but its very thin compared to the overtons one i have. Its not thick or sturdy.
I tell them both shouldve just spent the money. Good investment we use it often

We have the original and it has lasted over six years and is still going strong. We leave it out for weeks at a time. Our only mistake was allowing dogs to get on it.
