Any recommendations on after market wake board towers? I've heard " Monster towers are good , but I wonder if a tower would be compatible with my current bimini top on a searay sundeck...
any suggestions?

Monster are the cheapest and have a web page with all sorts of boats that have the tower on them. My friend bought one of them and loves it and said the support they give you durring installation is wonderfull.

Ihave purchased two from www.wakeair.com. The towers are very good and the company was great to work with. I installed the first one and had Blue Creek install the second. The towers are custom for your boat and can be made to go over or behind your bimini. In both cases, I placed my tower at the back of the boat behind the bimini.

You can't beat Monster Tower. It is strong, quiet and easy to install. My son and I installed one on my 1998 Tige PRE2200 last winter. My son used all summer with no problems. The people at Monster Tower which is in Alpharetta, Ga are super nice and will go overboard to try to assist with any installation questions or problems. You can go to the following link to see the actual boat and tower which is kept at Lake Martin year round. It is the red and white with my son Billy gett'n air.

We put one on our deck boat (25 foot with 8'6" beam) this past year and it was easy to do and has worked out great. We ended up getting a smaller bimini to put under it - and all seems to be working out great. We had been looking for one we could install for the last couple of years - this by far proved to be the easiest. Looks great on the boat too.

All you need is a drill and a couple of wrenches. They actually furnish the allen wrenches and drill bits along with simple and detailed instructions. Feel free to give them a call if you have any questins. They are always willing to answer any question regarding installation. Did your original bimini not fit with the tower? Would there have been any way to position the tower in such a way ( forward) to get it to fit? I am trying to avoid getting a whole new bimini. I have also thought of putting four quik release attachments, so that I can take the whole tower off when we are not wake boarding= does that semm plausible?

Where we put the tower up prevented us from using the current bimini. We bought another smaller one for not that much. The bimini on the deck boat was so huge. One thing I can tell you, If you decide to go with a smaller bimini for the tower, you can then put you other bigger bimini on the front of the boat. Before we got the tower, right after we got the deck boat, hubby bought and put another bimini on the front of ours - it has been a life saver. But again, the monster tower was really easy to install and an earlier poster was correct - the company is great to deal with. We live in Atlanta and went by the shop, took the specs for the boat and they spent the time to talk long enough for us to feel comfortable about installing it ourselves.
