Polls seem to favor Bush in our state, but a lot of other important elections going on in the state, including some important amendments.
I've decided some years ago that if an amendment only affected one county, and that was not my county, I would abstain from voting on the amendment and let the folks affected make the decision. This time, if Macon County folks want or don't want taxes on beer and smokes, let them make that decision.
I'm not running for anything. Just my humble opinion.

I'm voting against it.
Macon County is easily the most corrupt county in the State, and in my opinion, is in the running for the most corrupt county in the US. If they want a tax, you can bet it isn't the best thing for the people of the county.
I only voted no because there wasn't a "Hell No" option.
