Why doesn't anyone develop a vest with a mesh pocket on the chest area that uses velcro to close that you can stow your boating/driving license and maybe even cash in?

Cabellas makes one. . .or at least the last time I checked they had them. It isnt sporty as it is intended for anglers to wear. However, if you are looking for function over fashion it would get the job done.

To solve the license issue a friend of mine simply went to the Probate DL division and told them that he had lost his license. They charged him like $20 and made him another one. He put the old one in his boat and the new one in his wallet. When you spread that $20 expense out over 4 summers its only like a penny or two per trip out on the boat. . .well worth it not to have to keep up with your wallet.

Yea, a vest with a pocket and a 2 inch padded car cover for when hail falls. If I had the know-how and the extra $$$$ I would! :-)
