Contact my mother... AnnMarie

anniesantiques@charter.net

She has a couple of sources for you. She had the antique shop in Dadeville that is now located in Tallassee across from the hotel. I am sure she would be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

Mr. Clanton, of Clanton Upholstery and Refinishing (and Bait Shop), does the most beautiful job of re-caning chairs. Mr. Clanton re-upholstered some chair cushions for me (and did a wonderful job), and while I was there, he showed me two rocking chairs that he had recaned - backs and seats - they were gorgeous. It's not an impressive place - looks like an old garage - but he is the friendliest, most talented person you could meet. And his prices are reasonable!
Address: 16644 Hwy. 280 W. Dadeville. Good luck!
