Hey,.... has anyone eatin' at the Butcher Shop yet? It sits at the end of
Hwy 55 (Little Steel Bridge Road-going toward Real Island)
I THINK I can say this because I don't own this place, nor do I know this guy,.....
I stopped in with my mom yesterday and had lunch. A nice guy opened it up. He said he thought about going to New Orleans and opening a business, but when riding around looking for a place on the lake, wondered up on this building for sale. He had a buffet-three differant meats and about 10 veggies, with dessert. $4.50 for lunch. He' s just opened about a month ago, still working on decor for the inside, but the food was really good. The fried chicken was GREAT!
If you're ever in the neighborhood, stop in....... He said he was open everyday.
This wasn't advertising was it??? I'm just passing a little info.-a personal opinion.
