Maybe I am a little slow, but I don't think the article in the daily home really told us anything. If there are 2 pirple boats on the lake and 1 purple boat has an accident, then the accident rate for purple boats is 50%. Comments? Please be gentle, I'm new here.

right on the money. without taking into consideration the number of class 1 and craft on the lake vs the number of class 4s, the statistics don't mean much.

This might help, according to "Outdoor Alabama" there were 256,000 boats registered in the state that are 25 foot and under.
