Notice what looked like a new road being cut into a ridge near The Ridge. Across the main channel from The Ridge, on the west side of the lake across from that island out in the middle. Up the hill from the buoy on the left as you make the turn coming down the river around the corner to head up toward blue creek. In other words, from this point you can see up blue creek to your left, condos/old Tubby house in front of you, Ridge to the right.
Drove back in there Saturday, off of County 34, just before the boat ramp. Rough road cut in, no lots for sale yet but looks like they have marked it for pavement soon. Some great views from up that high, and some of the lots on the NE side look great.
Not sure who's doing the development, but believe this is part of the same large parcel of "family-owned" land that runs most of the way from there around to Pleasure Point.

I assume you're talking about the high ridge line that is the east side of the river. If so, I've wondered when that would be developed. Could it be part of The Preserve property?

It could be part of The Preserve, but it is actually off of the road that runs into Long Leaf in that area as well. You do have to pass The Preserve to get there. Nice gate - too bad it seems to always be open!
Doesn't look like they're trying to tie the two in together.
