Thinking of purchasing new pontoon boat from some marina that is overstocked w/ "drought boats." Any recommendations on make/model, etc? TIA

I agree that Harris makes a great pontoon boat - I think they call it a "Flote Bote".

Also, the Russell marinas carry a Sweetwater pontoon boat that doesn't have quite as many bells and whistles but delivers a great bang for the buck.

Bennington's are excellent boats. Local dealer is Lakeside Marina.

Harbor Pointe carries the Crest brand that rivals Bennington, Harris and SanPan. Also we are slashing the prices, so come check us out. Lee

I have had a pontoon boat for twenty years. Now in to my second one.
Here is what I would look for in a pontoon:

Three pontoons instead of two. get the larger size as well
A four stroke outboard motor
a retractable canopy
a local company that will service what they sell

Good luck!

How low can the water level go and your ramp still function?

Also, do you do service on the 2005 Johnson (aka Suzuki) 4 stroke 70 HP motor?

Thanks,

A Harbor Point Marina account customer.
