Politics - Alabama is firmly in the bag - the electoral votes of GA are far too valuable to jeopardize. So all of us get the shaft. Including the workers downstream that will likely be laid off.

Thanks for sharing Tony, what I take away from this story is that the town mayor is working for the people that elected him. He is doing what is necessary to get his town through a tough situation, and doing it with a great attitude. He is not blaming anybody for the situation that they are in, yet accepting the situation and dealing with it the best way he knows how.
