Thanks for the advice. But I have a great job ... just trying to protect what I have earned so this dope does not get a chance to take from me and pass out to losers like you that have class envy and just want more hand outs and the government to make all your decisions since you can't make your own. The liberals play to ignorant people like you making you think they will give you a better life by taking it away from others that worked hard to earn it.
It just isn't fair it is that someone should have more than you due to their own personal success. So go fish. :)

Are you really patriotic in deed or is it just hollow words from the right?
Republicans seem to enjoy mocking Obama for not wearing a flag pin. Well, it is time to step up to the plate and show your patriotism.
Joe Biden defended his contention that it is time for wealthy Americans to be patriotic and pay more taxes.
"Catholic social doctrine as I was taught it is, you take care of people who need the help the most," Biden said in Akron. "Now it'd be different if you could make the case to me that by giving this tax cut to the very wealthy, everybody else was going to be better off. We saw what happened the last eight years when we gave that tax cut. Tell me how everybody is better off. And the point I want to make to you is, and I mean this sincerely - wealthy people are just as patriotic, patriotic as poor people. We just have not asked anything of them.”
As a midget redneck between jobs, I am real envious of you rich Republicans. I feel confident that higher taxes for you rich folks to help pay for Bush's war in Iraq is as patriotic as you could get.

What Biden is advocating is called Socialism, but you can call it Income Redistribution, Patriotism, or even Caring if that will make you feel better. Who should profit from your hard work – you, or the guy down the street whose joy in life is waiting for the Government check to show up? I will help those in need by giving to the ones I feel are worthy, I do not want Washington to take my money, skim off 35%, then allocate it as the see fit in order to pander more votes. My wife and I are much better off now than we were eight years ago, and even though our 401K’s have taken a beating, we understand that a good portion of the economy is cyclical, and should have enough time to recoup our loses. If, on the other hand, we had been shaken down for more taxes – we would not see a dime of it. We are middle class but are very comfortable, and fortunate to live in the US and Alabama. We own a nice home, cars, and a decent boat because of our work, not because of Robin Hood – that is patriotism.

All republicans are not rich, just as all democrats are not poor. It is a foolish statement. My dad was a blue collar worker and I was the 1st of 4 kids to go to college. My dad, like me is fiscal conservative.
The "wealthy" as you say already pay the most in taxes both by percent and dollars. They are also the ones that spend the most that creates jobs for others and invests to keep interest rates low and let others get loans to buy cars, etc. If you just keep taking more away from those that have been successful, you destroy the incentive to be successful if the government is going to take more, you reduce spending and investment. You are crazy to think that would not have an impact on the economy and hurt the people the most that it is intended to help.
History has not only proven this .... but lower taxes and less government have created more jobs and more tax revebue for the government.
Obama is preaching SOCIALISM. Every country that has tried that has failed. Democracy and capitalism with less government is what works.

I find it funny as a life-long orthodox Catholic to hear Biden quoting Catholic anything. It is hard to describe how wrong he is on most issues Catholic. As for his quote, "Catholic social doctrine as I was taught it is, you take care of people who need the help the most," doesn't have anything to do with paying taxes. What Catholic social doctrine advocates is Christian charity. Having money taken away from one person at the point of a gun and given to another person is called stealing. Voluntarily giving to others in need is Christian charity.....oh wait a second, Biden has given much less than 1% of annual income to charity but I assume he takes credit for confiscating my money and giving it others as his charity. What a complete, unmitigated hypocrite to be quoting Catholic social doctrine. I give 10% of my income to the Church and charity and over 40% is stolen by the government. Enough is too much already!!
As for you liberals, if you think we don't pay enough taxes nothing is stopping you from giving more. Put YOUR money where your mouth is and leave me alone.

I agree. It is so interesting and beyond funny, that Biden can say it is now time to pay more in taxes to help less "fortunate" as a way to say you are "patriotic" when last year he gave $360 in charitable contributions last year out of several million in reported income. What was stopping him.
