We have had less than an inch of rain in Montgomery. How about at the lake so far?

Don't know specifics, but if B"Ham radar is even close, the Tallapoosa Basin got a LOT of rain today and more tomorrow, and it flows downhill from there.

About an inch and a half so far on the Manoy Creek/Jacksons Gap side. Keep on rising.

What we get at the lake does not count much.. What we get on the watershed is a biggy and we are getting a bunch.. APCO is keeping the gates closed. Therefore, I predict a foot rise by Monday.. Bet a beeer on it, any takers??

That is a bet I think we would all enjoy losing.

If you had seen the 3 rivers surging down my lot at 6:45 this morning, you wouldn't say that the rain on the lake doesn't matter.

PS I hope the closing went ok and you are officially homeless

Alahusker was the one saying the lake rain didn't matter! And yes we are officially homeless. It was the smoothest closing I have ever been to. 20 minutes and out of there!!! Celebrated with a little wine and some cough syrup!!
