I suspect he realizes that being so negative is too stressful. Maybe, he has retired from the Forum and now spends his time on his dock at the Ridge to sip the last of his $50/bottle wine.

Maybe he practices bankruptcy law and is very busy. The way things are going with the current direction of the government that will be a good growth area for law firms.

his cultivated taste would require a fine wine priced somewhat North of $50 if he resides at the Ridge.

WW seems to be a serious collector of fine wines, so I suspect that he isn't drinking $50 a bottle wines -- Serious collectors would consider that to be a moderately priced bottle, and certainly not one that one would cellar.
