-Hope the below URL works. If not, here is path for your browser: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdtqtfXdR-c

-I found this to be a very interesting couple of minutes. I don't know too much about advertising, so I don't know if this is "spot on," or just a well done repub video piece. My son has an advertising degree (yes, they actually have those), and he said it was a very good discusson, but that unless the originators of these logos and icons actually tell you what they were thinking when designing them, you just have to guess.
-But as I've stated in other posts, I've been a litle uneasy with teh "cult of personality" issue. This video addresses at least one aspect of that issue. Some may think it's correct, others may not.
-Of course main stream media is again an issue in this clip, at least at one point: the joker poster. However, I had forgotten that Vanity Fair had done a similar, but more gruesome, one on Bush that teh media didn't seem to mind.
-ANyway, I thought this clip interesting enough to waste your time. I hope you do too.

I watched your clip and found his early few minutes interesting, as I have long believed that the Republicans are sadly in need of better strategy and advertising and a better way of marketing their message.

But, when he launched off into some kind of half baked discussion about Obama's logo as some sort of sinister plot -- I mean, come on. How ridiculous is that?
This is what drives me crazy about the Right these days -- instead of focusing on real issues, they spend their time promoting these ridiculous rumors and conjectures.

The "big plot" theory is really getting old. If Republicans want to be taken seriously, they do it better when they spend their time pointing out the differences in their ideas and putting a positive spin on their ideas, as opposed to trying to promulgate the "big socialist plot".

As far as You Tube, I often wonder who these guys are. They kinda remind me of Michael Moore.
