Ayers Helped Obama Write Book
Terrorist bomber William Ayers helped Barack Obama write his 1995 book "Dreams From My Father," the best-selling author of a new book about Obama and his wife disclosed. Christopher Andersen, author of "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage," appeared on Sean Hannity's Fox News show on Tuesday.
Hannity referred to a passage in Andersen's book and said:
"Bill Ayers helped him with his book, and you actually pick up — you found the literary devices and themes bear a jarring similarity to Ayers' own writings."
Andersen said: "That's true. And they were good friends. And during the campaign, of course..."
Hannity: "They were good friends."
Andersen: "Yes, of course, they were."
Hannity: "So he denied it."
Andersen: "It was kind of — yes, he did. It was like a literary cabal there that was interesting in Chicago. They were all giving each other quotes, the blurbs to promote their respective books."
Ayers was a co-founder of the Weather Underground, a radical anti-war group that claimed responsibility for a series of bombings, including explosions at the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol that didn't kill anyone.
He was a fugitive for years. After surrendering in 1980, charges against him were dropped because of prosecutorial misconduct.
Hannity later told Andersen that Obama "lied" about his relationship with Ayers. "He lied to the American people."
Andersen responded: "During that campaign I think he was doing some backpedaling, I'll be honest. And I think that Michelle probably recommended that he not emphasize their relationship with Ayers."
Andersen also writes in his book that Michelle Obama convinced her reluctant husband to adopt the "Yes We Can" slogan.
Andersen has written best-selling books about the Kennedys, the Bushes and other notables, including "Jack and Jackie: Portrait of an American Marriage" and "The Day Diana Died."

-some people may think your post uninteresting, but I find it just the opposite.
-The average American knows nothing of this issue because it was hardly ever addressed in the main stream media. IT was hardly addrressed in the rightist media. And I suppose, if it was brought to light most would say , "so what,everyone has a ghostwriter" True, ...but few deny it.
-The right tried to make something of the Ayers-Obama connection, --a presidential candidate being the close friend of a left-wing terroist, etc. However, few addressed the book-Ayers issue. BUt the MSM pooh-poohed both issues, and after O denied them both, many more times than Peter ever denied anything, no one seemed to care. One columnist, Jack Cashill, never let up on the general relationship and specifically the book. He has writen numerous articles on teh issue of Ayers writing O's auto bio, but not anyone else that I know of.
-The problem with this Anderson revelation is that he gives no references, sources, etc, although the selection seems to indicate theat Mrs O gave him the info.
=-If Ayers did write the O autobiography, and most literary forensics who have studied it think he did, it is important cuz it shows O as a liar clear and simple, but more importantly it shows he is willing to lie directly to the American people, and do it with impunity cuz he knows teh press won't pursue it.
-If true, this revelation would show that O lied 1) about writing the book, 2) about incidents in his life, 3)about his close relationship with a convicted terrorist, and 4)make a fool of all who have deemed this book, as one pundit put it-- "the best bio ever written by a politician"
-What follows? Well, to most people what follows is teh thought that if he is willing to lie about the story of his own life then what isn't he willing to lie about?
-Politicians!!!!, you can't live with em, you can't live....wait a minute, we can live without em!! Throw them all out next election, and I mean every encumbent, and start over. Now, there's something for their future biographies!!!
