hi everyone, i live in montgomery and i have been searching and searching for an area of water. Im trying to find an area that is not close to roads or many people.  I do not mind hiking down trials or what not to get to them.  Im trying to find an area to swim with with the dog and not have to worry about traffic/distrations. My dog loves to swim but its hard to find good spots for her. If someone could let me know, thanks
Chris

You might try Bonner's point on Lake Jordan or you could walk down the side of the canal from hwy. 111 towards Walter Bouldin lake and there is some sand bars there but be careful not to get out in the main water flow due to the current.
